Congratulations Senator-elect Floyd Nicholson

CONGRATULATIONS MAYOR NICHOLSON

Democrat Floyd Nicholson edged past  Republican Dee Compton
for state Senate in District 10. Nicholson's unofficial total was
 17,653 compated to Compton’s 16,659 votes. The race
will be certified on Friday. Nicholson will replace
retiring District 10 Sen. John Drummond, the Ninety Six Democrat
who served in the Senate for more that 40 years.

Nicholson currently serves as Greenwood's Mayor, and he serves Lander University as a Student Affairs staff member.
