Lander University started of the month of March with with Spring Break. Every student had their own little personal adventures whether it was a trip to London, The Bahamas, Mexico or just went home and visited with their parents. The school provided the students an opportunity to go on a cruise to Mexico where they visited Costa Maya, Guatemala, Belize and Cozumel. There were 38 students from Lander that went on the Norwegian Spirt. Alicia Bailey, Senior member of Phi Mu Fraternity joined 12 other of her sorority sisters on the cruise, "The spring break cruise through Lander was an unforgettable experience. It was the best trip I have ever taken. Also, being with some of my best friends made it even better. I'm really glad I got to go out with a bang for my last spring break."
The school also provided the students with the opportunity to go to London, England. 15 Lander students took the trip and had a blast. Some however, are still recovering from jet lag. Courtney Owens, Senior psychology major was one of the lucky ones who got to go on the trip. "The trip to London was completely amazing. I'm still recovering from jet lag though, and it was rather hard coming back to an exam that had to be taken the following Tuesday. But definitely worth every bit of it."
