After getting off to a great start, the Equestrian team at Lander is looking forward to a new semester. Although there is still work to be finished at the new equestrian center, the team has started their riding lessons and team meetings. For many on the team, riding has become an outlet from school and also an educational experience.

Carolina Football Season Kick Off
College football season has just recently been kicked off, and the Carolina Gamecocks have gotten off to an impressive 2-0 start with wins over Southern Mississippi and the University of Georgia. Stephen Garcia has been playing solid at the quarterback position with 193 yards against Southern Mississippi, and 165 against the tough Georgia bulldogs defense. He also has not thrown an interception yet, which is a huge improvement from the way he started off last year.
